Dealer-level Audi work with ODIS — S tronic and DSG calibration, component protection removal, immobilizer and module programming, retrofit coding across MQB, MLB and older platforms.
A stock S tronic is deliberately soft: slow shifts, low clutch torque limits, lazy launch behaviour and creeping clutch wear as the box ages. We recalibrate the transmission control unit itself — DL501 (0B5), DQ250, DQ381 and DQ500 — for faster shifts, raised torque limits to match an engine tune, sharper launch control and corrected clutch adaptation. It transforms how the car drives far more than most people expect.
Audi's component protection is what sends most owners to the dealer: fit a used cluster, ECU, comfort module or MMI head unit and the car simply refuses it until the part is adapted to the VIN. We remove component protection and adapt modules properly with dealer-level software — so used parts work, and you don't pay dealer prices for a new module plus programming.
Beyond that: Simos and MED17 ECU calibration, S tronic recalibration, immobilizer and key work, retrofit coding, and full module programming across A3 through Q8 and RS models.
Available across Boston, Worcester, Springfield, Cambridge, Lowell, Brockton, Quincy, Lynn, New Bedford, Fall River, Newton and Lawrence — plus the rest of Massachusetts by mobile, in-house or mail-in service.
We run factory VAG platforms, so component protection, immobilizer adaptation and module coding are routine rather than 'dealer only'.
Because we program at module level, we can work on any control unit on the vehicle — engine, transmission, body, gateway, cluster, comfort, chassis, infotainment and driver-assistance modules — including new-unit programming, used-module adaptation and 1:1 cloning.
The issues owners actually walk in with — and what we do about them.
Fit a used cluster, ECU or MMI and the car rejects it. We remove component protection and adapt the module to your VIN — no dealer visit.
Stock calibration plus worn clutch adaptation makes the box feel broken. We recalibrate the TCU and reset adaptations — often night and day.
Add power without raising DSG torque limits and the box cuts torque or slips. We calibrate the TCU to match the engine.
Immobilizer and component protection need adapting after an ECU or cluster change. That's data-level work — routine for us.
Direct-injection EA888s foul intake valves. We diagnose with real live data before anyone recommends a walnut blast.
Virtual cockpit, MMI upgrades and comfort features need coding and adaptation channels set — we code them properly.
Original data secured before any change — OBD or bench.
Calibration or module data prepared with factory-level software.
Checksum-corrected write, coding, adaptation and security sync.
Live-data check, fault scan and documentation before hand-off.
Based in Worcester, serving all of Massachusetts. Remote and mail-in available.
