Porsche Programming, PDK Tuning & Coding

Dealer-level Porsche work with PIWIS III — PDK calibration, DME programming and cloning, immobilizer and key programming, option coding and retrofits across 911, Cayenne, Macan, Panamera and Cayman.

◆ Flagship service

PDK calibration & option coding without the dealer

Porsche keeps almost everything behind PIWIS: option coding, module programming, PDK adaptation and immobilizer work. We run PIWIS III, so we recalibrate PDK gearboxes for faster shifts and raised torque limits, code options the car was built to support, program replacement modules and handle immobilizer work — on 991, 992, 981, 718, Macan, Cayenne and Panamera.

Overview

Porsche specialists in Massachusetts

Porsche owners get quoted dealer rates for what is often a short software job: a feature the car already supports but isn't coded for, a PDK that needs adaptation after service, a replacement module that needs programming, or a key that needs adding. With PIWIS III on the bench we do that work directly — properly coded and documented, at independent pricing.

We also calibrate DME software for power on turbocharged platforms, and clone modules where a used part is the sensible repair.

  • PDK calibration — shift speed, torque limits, launch behaviour
  • DME programming & cloning for replacement units
  • Option coding — Sport Chrono, PSE, lighting, comfort features
  • Immobilizer & keys — add-a-key and lost-key work
  • Stage 1 / Stage 2 on turbocharged 911, Macan, Cayenne, Panamera
  • Module replacement programming across the vehicle
  • Guided diagnosis with factory-level live data

Available across Boston, Worcester, Springfield, Cambridge, Lowell, Brockton, Quincy, Lynn, New Bedford, Fall River, Newton and Lawrence — plus the rest of Massachusetts by mobile, in-house or mail-in service.

Dealer-level software

🧰 We run the factory Porsche tools

Dealer-level Porsche software on our bench

PIWIS III is the factory tester — the same platform Porsche dealerships use for coding, programming and guided diagnosis.

Because we program at module level, we can work on any control unit on the vehicle — engine, transmission, body, gateway, cluster, comfort, chassis, infotainment and driver-assistance modules — including new-unit programming, used-module adaptation and 1:1 cloning.

Known pain points

Common Porsche problems we solve

The issues owners actually walk in with — and what we do about them.

Feature the car supports but isn't coded

Sport Chrono displays, exhaust behaviour, lighting and comfort options often just need coding — not new hardware.

PDK feels lazy or shifts slowly

Stock calibration is conservative. We recalibrate shift speed and torque limits — the car feels like a different machine.

Dealer quote for a short software job

Programming and coding are billed at dealer rates. Same PIWIS III work, independent pricing.

Replacement module needs programming

New or used modules must be programmed and coded to the car. We do it in-house.

Key programming refused elsewhere

Independent locksmiths generally won't touch modern Porsche immobilizers. We can.

Tune quotes that ignore the gearbox

Adding power without raising PDK torque limits causes torque cuts. We calibrate both sides.

The workflow

⚙️ How we handle it

📥 Read & Backup

Original data secured before any change — OBD or bench.

🔬 Prepare

Calibration or module data prepared with factory-level software.

💾 Write & Adapt

Checksum-corrected write, coding, adaptation and security sync.

✅ Verify

Live-data check, fault scan and documentation before hand-off.

Questions

❓ Porsche FAQ

Do you have real PIWIS?
Yes — PIWIS III, the factory Porsche tester. That's what allows genuine coding, programming and guided diagnosis rather than generic scanning.
Can you tune the PDK gearbox?
Yes. We recalibrate shift speed, torque limits and launch behaviour. It's one of the most noticeable changes you can make to how a Porsche drives.
Can you code options my car didn't come with?
Often yes, where the car has the required hardware. Many features are hardware-present but coding-disabled — we can enable those.
Which models do you cover?
911 (991, 992), 718/981 Cayman and Boxster, Macan, Cayenne and Panamera. Send the model year and we'll confirm.
Can you program a replacement DME?
Yes — programming for new units and cloning where a used DME is the sensible repair, so it drops in as a same-VIN part.
Do you do lost keys on Porsche?
Yes. Modern Porsche immobilizer work is refused by most locksmiths; we handle it with dealer-level software.
